Be a screencast master chef! This recipe calls for Google Apps for Education tools, including Chrome, Google Slides, and the Screencastify Chrome Extension. We’ll splice up screencasts two ways: creating flipped lessons to serve up to students and modeling student ones. Screencasts will be sprinkled with 4Cs while students read, write, speak and listen! You will leave with a serving of your screencasts, plus links to versions cooked up by other rockstars. We will move into making and remaking as the way to learn, then serve a banquet at the end, full of tasty screencasts. Order up!

An important skill that students must learn in all subject areas is argumentation. After reading a text, collecting and analyzing lab data, or studying current events, students should be able to state a claim with evidence and reasoning. In this session, you will learn a creative way for students to demonstrate what they have learned by creating a quick and easy video featuring a ClEvR argument (Claims, Evidence, and Reasoning). Be a screencast master chef! This recipe calls for Google Apps for Education tools, including Chrome, Google Slides, and the Screencastify Chrome Extension. We’ll splice up screencasts two ways: creating flipped lessons to serve up to students and modeling student ones. Screencasts will be sprinkled with 4Cs while students read, write, speak and listen! You will leave with a serving of your screencasts, plus links to versions cooked up by other rockstars. ClEvR Arguments using Adobe Spark
An important skill that students must learn in all subject areas is argumentation. After reading a text, collecting and analyzing lab data, or studying current events, students should be able to state a claim with evidence and reasoning. In this session, you will learn a creative way for students to demonstrate what they have learned by creating a quick and easy video featuring a ClEvR argument (Claims, Evidence, and Reasoning). A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, Google created Forms. Forms are a versatile Google tool that you can use in dozens of ways. This session is geared for Padawans and Jedis alike.
